Thoughtful words of peace to guide us in our common efforts to bring a better world into being

My prayer is not that you do not suffer,

Or even that your suffering is diminished.

For how am I to know what is needed?

How am I to know what is required,

And in what measure?

My prayer is only to be with you in your suffering,

And in gratitude,

That in this movement of the One,

In this mirror of your soul,

I see,

I am.
